Question:
Dr. Blizzard. In your answer to the question "How Do I Study The Bible", you stated that Paul allowed women the unfettered right to pray and prophesy publicly. I have trouble locating this scripture, can you please enlighten me.
Answer:
See I Corinthians 11:3 and following. A very good treatment on this subject can be found in Kittel's Theological Dictionary of The New Testament. Vol. I, pgs 776-781. Although Kittel's work is on the meaning of Greek words and much of the work in is Greek yet the explanation is mostly in English and very easy to read. This is a very good reference work but expensive...10 volumes...but, I am sure you can find it at your local library or even online....
