| On the subject of once saved always saved ...
John 6:47 the word hath is present tense and means you posess it now. If you have eternal life now, and you lose is at anytime, how can that be eternal. Also "sealed with the Holy Spirit until redemption" verse in Ephesians 1:13-14 speaks of saved until redeemed. This does not mean that you have a license to sin. Why do you believe that you can lose your salvation? Does it say that you can remove the Holy Spirit? Does not this come down to who/whom is responsible for saving us in the first place. Thanks for taking your time to give me the scriptures references for you removing the Holy Spirit. Joe - posted: November 04 2009 | | Answer... |
| I have a question about Melchizedek. Many people I know believe that he was Jesus. In Hebrews 7 I see that he was a priest and a king of a real place. Where has your study came to about him and where can I find any clues.

| What does "Finger of God" mean as spoken in Exodus 8:18-19 and in Luke 11:21-22.
I was listening to a teaching by Dr. Young and I believe (Not 100% sure) he said that it meant the 'Spirt of God'. Is this true?

| I'm wondering how Biblical scholars would answer this question: The Bible gives examples of the power of Jesus to heal the physical body. Is there any Biblical evidence to support the notion that Satan also has the ability to heal? I've heard someone say that angels have the power to heal the physical body and that since Satan is a fallen angel, he has the power to heal. I've also heard that Catholics pray to a variety of Saints. Is there any Biblical evidence to suggest that these Saints have the power to heal the physical body?

| I am getting ready to debate a Jehovah's Witness about Bible prophecy. They believe that Jesus returned invisibly in 1914. They come to this date by jumping all over the Bible and taking prophecies about the 70 weeks of years, a day for a year and the 70 years of desolation mentioned in Jeremiah. The main date for them is 1914 but it rests on the 607 B.C. date which they believe is when Jerusalem was destroyed. The Bible shows the Jews returned home in 539 and the 70 years that Jeremiah was talking about meant Babylon's domination over Judah AND the surrounding nations. Also all of the secular evidence which is also in harmony with the BIble points to 587 B.C. as the destruction of Jerusalem. I am trying to show the J.W. that their timelines are off which is a very important part of their belief system. Any information would be appreciated.
